Nick Juskie

Nick Juskie was born and raised in Carlsbad, California, a sleepy beach town in North County San Diego. He went on to the University of California, Santa Barbara to double-major in film studies and philosophy. Entering with broad ambitions of becoming a filmmaker, here he fell in love with the process of editing, particularly its symbiotic blending of technical know-how and artistic freedom. After graduating, he migrated from Isla Vista to nearby downtown Santa Barbara, working as a junior editor for SUV Superbuild (airing on Discovery International, displayed in the portfolio). The following year, he graduated to the lead editor position on National Geographic International’s Ultimate Supercar. He now works in Santa Barbara as a remote editor for the show The American Dream.
